Ornate wrasse on the shallow platform

On the Costa del Silencio, north of Ten-Bel, in front of a yellow rock formation that serves as shelter from the north wind, you will find Montaña Amarilla or Yellow Mountain. The dive site is 100 meters off the coast. The boat is anchored to a rocky platform at 10 meters depth. There are 2 routes: The first, for inexperienced divers, is along the seabed at 20 meters depth, between the walls of a curious, V-shaped structure, then turning north through a small cave, and climbing the rock walls again to the anchor-line. The second recommended route takes us east as far as some rocks at 27 meters depth.

A rocky sea floor with barriers, caves and crevices, although there are ample spaces of light sand. We find cuttlefish, brown lizard fish, greater weavers, wide-eye flounders, round stingrays, garden eels, etc. in the sandy areas; Turkish wrasse, white bream and shoals of grunts, while almaco jacks occasionally approach in search of food.
