La Burrera can be found to the east of the island of Fuerteventura, a mile and a half from La Costa and 20 minutes by boat. The two meter high ledge forms a tongue of flat rocks lying on a sandy bottom running North to South. The maximum depth is about 18 meters and is a passageway for deep sea fish. You will see many sea Urchins, Duckbill Ray, Wide Wing Ray and Eagle Rays. Other fish are Common Drum, Canary Drum and in the sand on each side of the reef hundreds of Garden Eels.
