The tongue of lava at Punta Ajones penetrates the sea and creates a vertical wall with the seabed of rocks. Further out you can find some deep diving as there is a ridge that drops down to a depth of 70 meter.

Lobsters, morays, octopuses, and sponge colonies surround the rocks and crevices of the wall with barracudas and comb groupers chasing shoals of mackerel and other small fish.
