The seabed of Tijeretas is filled with volcanic rocks, small caves and crevices. Sometimes you will find large rocks on a very rugged landscape with corridors making it an area of great interest. Heading away from shore there are areas of deeper sand.
Large lobsters with moray eels, comb groupers, parrotfish, trumpet fish, red hogfish and odd black guelly jack. In the sand you can spot shy garden eels which are retracting on proximity.
